Join other area TASC schools for a leadership event they will remember forever!  The TASC District 3 ML Spring Retreat will take place at Sky Ranch and all leadership activities will be led by their trained staff.  We are so excited about this incredible opportunity!

Cost:  $50 per attendee, including sponsors and parent chaperones.                
 This includes overnight lodging,  &  4 meals (Thurs dinner-Fri dinner)  OR $25 each for Friday only with lunch and dinner provided                                                        
 *You may bring as many students and adults as you wish but you must have an adult for every 10 students and you must have an adult male chaperone for your boys if you are staying overnight.

Registration deadline:  January 18th                                      **NO LATE OR ON-SITE REGISTRATION ACCEPTED
There will be absolutely NO exceptions to this. This is a huge camp facility and we must follow their registration guidelines.  We are financially responsible for the numbers we register.  Therefore, you MUST PAY for all you register regardless if they attend so be aware of such and please plan accordingly.  Payment will be due when you arrive to the camp in the form of a school check or cash only.  Checks need to be made out to TASC District 3.

IMPORTANT REMINDERS FOR A SUCCESSFUL SKY RANCH LEADERSHIP EVENT                         PLEASE REVIEW THESE DETAILS CLOSELY…

1.  Students must be in TASC dress code.  Please have your leaders leave their shorts at home this time as it will be cold in February and they need to be dressed accordingly.                                            2.  Sky Ranch has asked that we call or text Marquita to tell her when we have left for camp as well as our estimated time of arrival.  Then when you are about 15 minutes away, call/text her again.  This allows for each group to be greeted and directed to the proper place efficiently.              Marquita can be reached at 903-352-1686                                                                                                        3. Overnight campers need sleeping bags, pajamas, and toiletries.  Their overnight bags must be labeled with their name and school on it as well as their cabin # once you receive it at check-in.  4.  If you have a camper with special dietary needs, please contact the camp at 903-266-3368 or email Lee Ann Stewart at [email protected] so they may assist with meal needs.                                                                                                                       5. Accidental insurance is included in registration.  This also requires a “Release/Participation form to be completed for all campers and must be turned in upon arrival to camp.   This form is included in this information.                                                                                                                                6. Please review leadership behavior expectations prior to arriving…it is  long way home for most of us so discipline concerns are the last thing anyone wants to address.                                7.  Sponsors will have a meeting after lunch on Friday.  Officer Elections for 2011-2012 will be decided at that time.  If your group wants to hold an officer position for next year, you must have attended a District/State event in the fall.  You must also bring a letter of recommendation from your school principal.  

TASC Report Forms must be turned in to JJ Stroud NO LATER THAN MARCH 11th.  You may also turn them in at the retreat.  Remember you may count any scheduled activities through May  for points on the forms.  If you choose to mail them you may do so by sending them to [email protected] or JJ Stroud 1008 Walnut Place Mansfield, TX 76063
