District 3 Advisors,

We would like to wish you and your student council an enjoyable and productive year.  The fresh start of a new school year provides us the opportunity for evaluating the position and direction we would like our councils to take in the coming year.  The Texas Association of Student Councils serves more than 1300 secondary schools around the state.  The primary purpose of TASC is to provide sponsors and students with the experiences and support needed to effectively serve local schools and communities.

 TASC District 3 can help meet the challenges and particular needs of your school.  At the district level, our district has provided opportunities for leadership training through the district retreats, district newsletters, district website, and district projects.  District dues are $20 per school and are included in the $70 state and district membership fee. 

We hope you will join TASC and the District, and that we have an opportunity to participate with you in this year's district and state activities.  Best wishes for a successful year!
